OUR STORY

The Scout rank advancement & Outdoor programs work together to ensure that a Scout has opportunities to learn and apply Scout skills. The program includes weekly meetings where boys focus on skill building and monthly camping, hiking and/or backpacking trips that provide a safe space for Scouts to apply their newly learned skills. Below is a sample of the yearly activities.

Camping and Events

  • Merit badge work: Cycling, Hiking, and more 

  • Day outings: Midnight Broomball, Rock Climbing overnight, Urban hikes, white water rafting, SF Giants Day

  • District events like Camporee and OA events

  • Weekend Backpacking and Camping: Pinnacles,  Angel Island, Point Reyes

  • Summer Camp: Chawanakee, Wente, Camp Emerald Bay

  • High Adventure Backpacking: Whitney, Lost Coast, Philmont
